8 Control is a metal-influenced moshing hardcore band from Toulouse, France. The band started in 1997; immediate line-up changes were made in order to continue. Over the years the band has played with such acts as Walls Of Jericho, Despised Icon, Cephalic Carnage, and Bring Me The Horizon. 8 Control have been actively releasing music since 1999 with their self-released debut, "Teaching A New Science". The band members believe in distributing their music free of charge as they expect their fans to support them by attending live shows and purchasing the band's merchandise. Despite this, 8 Control have signed with underground hardcore label Nothing But A Beatdown Records, which support up-and-coming hardcore bands.
